Pebbla - Soft Steps on Quiet Paths

Bring a soft, tactile landscape into your home with this beautifully structured runner, designed to offer a comforting cushion underfoot.
This structured runner brings a wonderful sense of warmth and quiet comfort to the busy pathways of your home. Its unique bubbled texture provides a gentle underfoot massage, while the dense structure naturally helps to absorb sound, creating a calmer atmosphere in hallways or entryways.
Crafted from wool, this piece offers natural durability and resilience, making it highly suited for everyday life. The inherent properties of the wool fibres help repel dirt and keep the runner looking fresh, while providing a cosy layer that insulates against cold floors.
Designed with modern living in mind, this runner is fully compatible with underfloor heating. It allows warmth to circulate freely throughout your space, ensuring your floors remain invitingly cosy during the colder months of the year.
Handcrafted in India, each piece carries the distinct character of traditional weaving expertise. This heritage of craftsmanship ensures a beautiful finish that brings both character and reliable quality to your interior.

Design

The design is defined by its striking relief pattern, featuring a raised, pebble-like structure that creates a rich visual depth. This tactile surface is framed by clean, flat-woven borders at each end, offering a balanced and grounded aesthetic that highlights the beauty of the weave.
Rendered in a soft light grey, the runner brings a calm and neutral presence to your decor. This versatile palette coordinates beautifully with Scandinavian and modern interiors, helping to open up narrow spaces and create a serene, welcoming mood.
This runner is hand woven by skilled artisans, a process that requires patience and a high level of expertise. Every single bubble in the texture is carefully formed by hand, making each finished piece a unique work of craft.
Creating a structured piece of this size takes several weeks of dedicated work. The weavers carefully manage the tension of the loom to ensure the pattern remains consistent and durable, resulting in a robust runner made to be enjoyed for years.
By choosing a hand-woven runner, you are bringing a piece of genuine human artistry into your home. The subtle variations in the weave are a hallmark of its handmade origin, representing hours of skilled labour that machine processes simply cannot replicate.

80% Wool

Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.

20% Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.

Care & Fair

Maintenance

  • This rug is handmade with a looped pile, which makes it more prone to snagging. Hoover carefully and keep it away from sharp objects, as these can pull the loops out of place and cause uneven wear.
  • To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
  • Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
  • For best results and a longer-lasting rug, we recommend shaking the rug instead of hoovering. If needed, hoover carefully using gentle suction to avoid stressing the pile.
  • If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
  • Rug suitable for use with underfloor heating (max. 27°C).
  • You may notice some shedding on your rug - this is completely normal and a sign of its high-quality natural fibres. The shedding will gradually lessen over time and does not affect the rug’s quality or lifespan. Regular hoovering with gentle suction and occasional brushing will help manage loose fibres and keep your rug looking beautiful for years to come.
  • Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

  • For added safety, stability and floor protection, we recommend using an anti-slip pad underneath the rug (sold separately).
  • Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
  • As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
  • Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
  • Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Cleaning instructions

Do this
  • Spot clean only.
  • Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
  • We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
  • For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
Avoid this
  • Do not wash
  • Do not bleach.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not iron.
  • Do not dry clean.
