Pebbla - Soft Steps in Quiet Tones

With its inviting, bubble-like texture and calming neutral tone, this hand-woven runner brings a wonderful tactile warmth to your hallway or bedside.
This hand-woven runner brings a wonderful sense of comfort and quiet beauty to your home. The distinctive bubble structure offers a soft, cushioned feel underfoot, making it a lovely addition to busy hallways or alongside your bed. Its thick pile naturally absorbs sound and helps to keep your rooms feeling cosy and warm.
Crafted from wool, this piece benefits from the natural resilience and warmth of the fiber. Wool is inherently durable and easy to care for, making it an excellent choice for areas of the home that see daily use. The natural fibers create a healthy indoor climate while providing a soft texture that feels wonderful to walk on.
Designed with modern living in mind, this runner is fully compatible with underfloor heating. This ensures your floors remain warm and inviting even during the colder months, enhancing the natural insulating properties of the wool.
Carefully crafted in India, each runner carries the unique character of the skilled hands that created it. This origin represents a long tradition of textile craftsmanship, ensuring you receive a beautiful piece that is built to last.

Design

The design of this runner focuses entirely on texture and structure, featuring a beautiful bubble-like surface that creates a playful yet sophisticated pattern. The single-coloured composition allows the natural variations in the weave to take centre stage, offering visual depth without overwhelming your decor.
In a soft beige tone, this runner brings a calm and grounded atmosphere to any room. The neutral palette makes it incredibly versatile, fitting seamlessly into Scandinavian or modern rustic interiors where natural materials and understated elegance are celebrated.
This runner is crafted by hand using traditional weaving techniques that have been passed down through generations of artisans. The distinctive textured surface is created by carefully looping the fibers, a process that requires a high level of skill and precision to ensure a consistent finish.
Creating a hand-woven piece of this nature demands significant time and dedication. Every single loop is formed by hand, reflecting the patience and expertise of the weaver and making each runner a unique work of craft.
A runner of this size can take skilled artisans several weeks to complete on a traditional loom. This slow, considered process ensures a level of durability and character that simply cannot be replicated by modern machinery.

80% Wool

Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.

20% Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.

Care & Fair

Maintenance

  • This rug is handmade with a looped pile, which makes it more prone to snagging. Hoover carefully and keep it away from sharp objects, as these can pull the loops out of place and cause uneven wear.
  • To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
  • Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
  • For best results and a longer-lasting rug, we recommend shaking the rug instead of hoovering. If needed, hoover carefully using gentle suction to avoid stressing the pile.
  • If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
  • Rug suitable for use with underfloor heating (max. 27°C).
  • You may notice some shedding on your rug - this is completely normal and a sign of its high-quality natural fibres. The shedding will gradually lessen over time and does not affect the rug’s quality or lifespan. Regular hoovering with gentle suction and occasional brushing will help manage loose fibres and keep your rug looking beautiful for years to come.
  • Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

  • For added safety, stability and floor protection, we recommend using an anti-slip pad underneath the rug (sold separately).
  • Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
  • As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
  • Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
  • Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Cleaning instructions

Do this
  • Spot clean only.
  • Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
  • We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
  • For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
Avoid this
  • Do not wash
  • Do not bleach.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not iron.
  • Do not dry clean.
