Mosaic Border - A Soft Foundation for Calm Rooms

Bring gentle texture and quiet warmth to your home with the handcrafted Mosaic Border rug, featuring a subtle geometric design.

Ground your living room or bedroom in tactile comfort with a rug designed to bring a sense of calm to daily routines. The soft surface invites bare feet, adding natural warmth and helping to absorb sound for a quieter, more relaxed home environment.

Crafted with consideration, this piece is fully compatible with underfloor heating systems, allowing warmth to pass through naturally while keeping your floors comfortable throughout colder months.

Originating from skilled workshops in India, each rug represents hours of dedicated craftsmanship by experienced artisans who bring traditional weaving techniques into contemporary homes.

Certified by OEKO-TEX, this rug meets high standards for human ecology, giving you peace of mind about the textiles you bring into your living spaces.

Design

The design features a subtle, low-relief geometric pattern that plays with light and shadow across the surface. A delicate border frames the central field, lending a neat, structured appearance that anchors furniture placement without overwhelming the room.

Rendered in a calm cream white tone, the palette creates an airy, open feel that suits modern interiors. The tonal variation adds gentle depth, making it easy to pair with wooden furniture and neutral fabrics.

This rug is carefully crafted using a handloom technique, requiring skilled artisans to guide the process from start to finish. The human effort involved means each piece receives individual attention, resulting in a reliable finish that machine production cannot replicate.

Building a rug of this scale by hand takes several weeks of consistent work. Artisans carefully manage tension and placement to ensure the foundation remains even and durable over years of daily use.

80% Viscose

Viscose is a synthetic fibre made from cellulose, which is a natural material found in plants. The material is often used to give a shine to rugs and to highlight details in a way that is found in silk rugs. Viscose rugs have a soft and beautiful shine that gives a luxurious feeling. The material is sensitive to liquids, which means that moisture can cause stains, shrink or make the fibres yellow. Therefore it is best if you avoid placing place your viscose rug in areas prone to humidity or risk of spills.

20% Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.
