Marble - The Calm Beneath Your Feet

Bring cosy warmth and subtle organic texture to your living space with this 100% wool pile rug crafted by hand.
Enjoy the soft and tactile feel of 100% wool beneath your feet, bringing natural warmth and comfort to your home.
This rug helps absorb sound to create a quieter, more peaceful room environment.
Designed for modern living, this piece is fully compatible with underfloor heating systems so you can keep rooms warm and inviting throughout the colder months.
Crafted in India by skilled artisans, the handmade construction reflects generations of rug-making expertise and care.
Each piece is made to support fair working conditions through certified production standards.
The natural wool fibres provide resilient everyday quality, ensuring your rug remains a comfortable and welcoming feature in your home for years to come.

Design

The design features flowing, organic lines that meander gently across the surface, reminiscent of natural stone formations or rippling sand.
The subtle shifts in height and texture create quiet movement and visual depth without overwhelming the room.
Rendered in a calm, neutral white palette, this rug brings a bright and airy feel to your interior.
It suits modern spaces seeking a soft touch of organic form and understated elegance.
This rug is carefully hand-tufted by skilled craftspeople who shoot yarn through a base fabric using a specialist tufting tool.
This traditional method allows for precise control over the dense pile and tactile surface finish.
Creating a piece of this scale requires many hours of focused human effort, from the initial hand-tufting process to the final trimming and finishing touches that ensure a clean and even surface.
The combination of a 100% wool pile and sturdy cotton foundation creates a durable construction designed to withstand daily use while maintaining its soft texture and appearance.

80% Wool

Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.

20% Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.

We are proud to be part of the organization CARE & FAIR. Their mission is to improve the living conditions of carpet weavers in India and their families through education and health

Care & Fair

Maintenance

  • To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
  • Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
  • If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
  • You may notice some shedding on your rug - this is completely normal and a sign of its high-quality natural fibres. The shedding will gradually lessen over time and does not affect the rug’s quality or lifespan. Regular hoovering with gentle suction and occasional brushing will help manage loose fibres and keep your rug looking beautiful for years to come.
  • Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

  • For added safety, stability and floor protection, we recommend using an anti-slip pad underneath the rug (sold separately).
  • Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
  • As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
  • Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
  • Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Cleaning instructions

Do this
  • Spot clean only.
  • Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
  • We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
  • For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
Avoid this
  • Do not wash
  • Do not bleach.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not iron.
