Design

The design features a delightful cat silhouette rendered in a soft beige tone, accented with dark grey spots. Its friendly expression and playful shape make it an instant focal point in any room.

The artistic use of high and low pile creates a relief effect, giving the cat's features a gentle sense of depth. This thoughtful design choice ensures the pattern remains clear and engaging from every angle.

This rug is carefully hand-tufted by skilled artisans in India. This technique involves punching Wool yarn into a base fabric to create a dense and durable pile, a process that requires precision and a steady hand to achieve the clean lines of the cat design.

Creating a piece with such distinct detail and varied pile height takes significant time and human effort. The artisans must carefully carve the pile to define the features of the cat, ensuring that the final result is both visually striking and structurally sound.

By choosing a hand-tufted rug, you are investing in a product where human skill is at the heart of the creation. The dedication of the craftspeople ensures that every curve and spot is placed exactly as intended, resulting in a premium item that brings warmth and character to your home.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
You may notice some shedding on your rug - this is completely normal and a sign of its high-quality natural fibres. The shedding will gradually lessen over time and does not affect the rug’s quality or lifespan. Regular hoovering with gentle suction and occasional brushing will help manage loose fibres and keep your rug looking beautiful for years to come.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Care instructions

Do this

Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.

Avoid this

Do not wash
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
