Handloom flat - Simple Tonal Warmth

A round handloom rug with a rich dark brown tone that brings subtle texture and grounded warmth to your floor.
Crafted from wool, this round handwoven rug offers a soft and tactile feeling underfoot while helping to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere in your room.
The low pile profile makes it a practical choice for everyday living, sliding comfortably under furniture and allowing doors to open and close easily.
Designed for versatile home placement, this piece is fully compatible with underfloor heating to ensure your living spaces stay cosy throughout the seasons.
Hand woven in India, it reflects traditional craftsmanship and subtle tonal depth that fits naturally into a variety of interiors.

Design

The rug features a single-coloured circular design in a deep dark brown hue. Its surface showcases gentle horizontal tonal variations created naturally by the woven texture, without any added motifs or decorative borders.
This clean, minimalist layout creates a grounded and serene mood. The rich brown shade works seamlessly with natural wood elements and soft neutral palettes to add quiet depth to your interior.
Hand woven in India, this piece is created using long-standing loom techniques that require exceptional skill, precision, and patient effort from local artisans.
The hand weaving process takes several weeks to complete for a piece of this scale, resulting in a structured weave with individual character in every line.
This dedicated craftsmanship gives the rug reliable durability and a rich, authentic surface structure that stands up well over time.

80% Wool

Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.

20% Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.

Care & Fair

We are proud to be part of the organization CARE & FAIR. Their mission is to improve the living conditions of carpet weavers in India and their families through education and health

Care & Fair

Maintenance

  • To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
  • Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
  • If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
  • Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

  • Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
  • As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
  • Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
  • We recommend using an anti-slip mat with this rug, as color migration may occur onto light-colored floors.
  • Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Cleaning instructions

Do this
  • Spot clean only.
  • Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
  • We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
  • For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
Avoid this
  • Do not wash
  • Do not bleach.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not iron.
