Design

This round rug features a clean, unadorned surface that lets the natural texture of the wool take centre stage.

The flatwoven construction creates subtle tonal variations across the circular field, resulting in a calm and balanced visual rhythm without busy motifs.

The warm brown colour palette adds a grounding element to the floor, pairing easily with wood furniture and neutral interiors.

It creates a welcoming mood that suits spaces focused on simple comfort and organic materials.

This rug is entirely handmade using a traditional hand-woven technique.

Skilled artisans spend weeks carefully working the loom to build a sturdy and even flat surface with a clean finish.

The process requires considerable human effort and technical skill, particularly when managing the circular shape and tension of the wool fibres.

This careful attention to detail ensures a durable and well-crafted home textile.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
We recommend using an anti-slip mat with this rug, as color migration may occur onto light-colored floors.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Cleaning instructions

Do this

Spot clean only.
Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
