Cotton stripe - A calm foundation for your home

Bring a sense of calm to your space with this hand woven cotton runner. Featuring a clean striped pattern, it offers a soft and versatile addition to any room in your home.

The Cotton stripe runner is a thoughtful addition to any living space, offering a clean and understated aesthetic that complements a variety of interiors. Crafted from cotton, this piece provides a soft and tactile surface underfoot that enhances the comfort of your home. Its natural fibres feel pleasant to the touch, making it a reliable choice for high-traffic areas like hallways or entryways.

Designed with versatility in mind, this runner brings a balanced visual appeal through its simple striped pattern. The light tones create an airy atmosphere, helping to brighten up narrower spaces while providing a grounded, stable feel. It is a practical choice for those who value both form and function in their home decor.

This rug is fully compatible with underfloor heating, allowing you to maintain a warm and inviting environment throughout the colder months. Its construction ensures that it sits flat and remains a sturdy fixture in your home, providing long-lasting utility. The addition of subtle fringes at the ends adds a touch of charm and a classic finish to the overall design.

As a product from our Essential range, this runner represents a considered choice for everyday living. It is produced with care in India, reflecting a tradition of quality craftsmanship that you can feel in every weave. Whether placed in a corridor or alongside a bed, it serves as a reliable and stylish anchor for your interior.

Design

The design features a clean, rhythmic striped pattern that runs the length of the runner. The combination of soft grey and off-white tones creates a gentle contrast, offering a versatile look that fits seamlessly into a modern or minimalist home.

Finished with delicate fringes at both ends, the design maintains a balanced and light appearance. The simplicity of the pattern allows the texture of the cotton to take centre stage, providing a calm and cohesive visual element to your floor.

Each Cotton stripe runner is carefully hand woven by skilled artisans in India. This traditional technique requires significant time and focus, as every thread is meticulously placed to create the consistent striped pattern and durable structure that defines this rug.

The human effort involved in the hand weaving process ensures that each piece is unique, carrying the subtle marks of its creation. By choosing a hand woven rug, you are supporting a craft that prioritises attention to detail and personal skill over mass production methods.

The process begins with the preparation of the cotton, which is then woven on traditional looms. Given the scale of the work, it takes our artisans several days to complete a single runner, ensuring that the final result meets our standards for durability and authentic design.
