Design

The design features a classic checkered pattern that balances black and dark grey tones. This geometric layout creates a sense of symmetry and order that works well in a variety of interior settings.

The subtle contrast between the two shades offers a sophisticated look that remains understated. Its clean lines and simple motif make it an easy choice for those looking to add structure without overwhelming their existing decor.

This rug is carefully hand woven by skilled artisans who use traditional techniques to achieve its distinct look. The process requires significant time and focus, as each thread is placed with intention to create a balanced, consistent finish across the entire surface.

The human effort involved in hand weaving ensures a level of character and authenticity that machine-made alternatives cannot replicate. By choosing this rug, you are supporting a craft that values precision and patience, resulting in a durable piece built for long-term enjoyment.

Creating a rug of this nature involves a steady, rhythmic approach to weaving that can take several days of dedicated work. This hands-on method allows the artisans to maintain high standards of quality, ensuring that the final product is a thoughtful addition to your home.

Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.

Wool

Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.
