This practice honours the history of the original pieces while creating a contemporary aesthetic that fits perfectly into modern homes.

The art of the patchwork rug is a testament to the skill required to curate and assemble disparate fragments into a harmonious design. Each segment is chosen for its colour, texture, and structural integrity. This process requires a deep understanding of rug traditions, as the maker must ensure that the final composition feels balanced and intentional rather than arbitrary.

The visual language of these rugs is defined by their modular nature, often highlighting the variation in dye lots and wear patterns that give each section its unique character. While traditional rugs often feature formal, symmetrical borders and medallions, these pieces embrace the beauty of contrast and the unexpected. The resulting design is a mosaic of history and colour that feels both familiar and refreshingly new.

Collecting a patchwork rug is an investment in both sustainability and heritage. These rugs are highly valued for their ability to bring depth, warmth, and a human touch to any space, making them cherished items for those who appreciate the story behind their decor.
