Mushroom Forest - Beige / TerracottaShaggyRug
140 x 200 cm

Mushroom Forest - A Whimsical Journey for Little Feet

Bring a touch of magic to the room with this charming rug, featuring a soft, textured landscape of mushrooms and a gentle rainbow.
Transform any play area or bedroom into a peaceful hideaway with this delightful rug. Designed with a soft, tactile surface, it provides a warm and cushioned spot for children to sit, read, or play comfortably on the floor.
The rug features a unique high and low pile construction, adding depth and interest to the design while remaining gentle underfoot. Its soft, muted tones create a calm atmosphere that fits perfectly into a variety of interior settings.
Practicality meets playfulness with this piece, as it is fully compatible with underfloor heating, ensuring the floor stays warm during cooler days. The addition of decorative fringe along the edge adds a charming, finished look to the overall design.
Built for daily life, the rug is easy to maintain and durable enough to withstand high-traffic areas in the home. Whether placed in a nursery or a shared play space, it offers a welcoming surface that encourages imagination and comfort.

Design

The design showcases a whimsical forest scene rendered in soft, earthy tones. A gentle rainbow arches over a quiet landscape of mushrooms and falling rain, creating a storybook feeling that sparks curiosity.
The irregular shape and playful motifs are complemented by a carefully balanced colour palette. This rug serves as an artistic focal point, bringing warmth and a sense of wonder to any floor it covers.

85% Polypropylene

Polypropylene is a synthetic fibre used in the manufacturing of rugs. The material is durable and long-lasting, and it is also suitable for underfloor heating due to its ability to withstand high temperatures. Rugs made from polypropylene are ideal for people with allergies as the material does not contain any natural fibres that may cause allergic reactions. Another advantage of polypropylene is its antistatic properties, which means it does not attract dust or shed, making them easy to clean and maintain. Additionally, polypropylene has a wool-like feel and lustre, providing an elegant and soft surface.

15% Jute

Jute is a natural material that consists of a long, soft and shiny plant fibre that can be spun into coarse and strong threads. Jute rugs are known for their natural texture, which makes them durable and highly resistant to wear and tear. They also have a higher sound insulation effect than for example synthetic rugs. Jute rugs are a sustainable option since they can be recycled and are biodegradable. The material is sensitive to moisture, therefore jute rugs should only be used indoors or outdoors under a roof.
