Modern Indian rugs often reinterpret classic motifs through a contemporary lens. While traditional rugs may focus on heavy, ornate patterns, this design leans into a more understated approach, utilising subtle variations in texture and tone to create visual interest. This evolution showcases the adaptability of Indian craftsmanship, meeting the needs of modern homes while honouring the historic skill of the weaver.
