Heridas - A Quiet Sanctuary

With its rich, warm tones and beautifully carved high-low texture, this hand-tufted rug brings a tactile depth and grounding presence to your favourite indoor spaces.

This hand-tufted rug offers a soft and inviting surface underfoot, bringing both physical warmth and excellent sound absorption to your home. Its dense pile creates a cosy barrier against cold floors, making any room feel instantly more comfortable and grounded.

Crafted from wool, the rug benefits from the natural resilience and soft texture of this classic fibre. Wool is naturally durable and easy to care for, ensuring that the rug retains its beauty and plush feel even in busy areas of your home.

Designed with modern living in mind, this piece is fully compatible with underfloor heating, allowing you to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the colder months. Handcrafted in India, it represents a long-standing heritage of textile craftsmanship, bringing a touch of global artistry into your interior.

As part of our carefully curated selection, this rug showcases exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of craftsmanship. The combination of traditional hand-tufting techniques and thoughtful design results in a lasting piece that adds character and comfort to your living space.

Ontwerp

The design features a striking organic pattern of vertical, flowing lines that mimic the natural texture of tree bark or weathered stone. This high-low relief effect is achieved through precise carving, creating a beautiful play of light and shadow across the surface that adds visual interest without overwhelming the room.

Rendered in a rich rust red palette, the rug brings a warm, earthy energy to your decor. This deep, comforting tone pairs beautifully with natural wood furniture and neutral textiles, making it an ideal choice for creating a cosy, inviting atmosphere in modern or rustic interiors.

This rug is crafted using the hand-tufting technique, where skilled artisans use a specialised tool to insert yarn loops into a stretched canvas backing. This method allows for incredible precision, enabling the creation of the beautiful, organic high-low patterns that give the rug its distinctive character.

Each piece requires a high level of skill and patience, as the artisan carefully guides the tufting tool to build the dense pile. Once the tufting is complete, the rug is sheared and finished by hand, a process that demands a keen eye and steady hand to achieve the desired texture and depth.

Creating a hand-tufted rug of this scale is a labour-intensive process that can take several weeks to complete. The result is a unique, substantial piece of floor art that carries the touch of the maker, offering a level of character and durability that machine-made alternatives cannot replicate.

80% Wol
