It provides a soft and tactile surface underfoot, creating a cosy environment that is perfect for children to sit, play, and relax. The Wool pile offers natural warmth and comfort, ensuring the rug feels inviting during everyday activities.

Designed with both style and functionality in mind, this rug is fully compatible with underfloor heating, allowing you to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the year. The high-quality materials are selected for their durability, ensuring the rug remains a cheerful part of your interior for years to come.

As part of our Rugvista Premium selection, this piece highlights a dedication to quality and thoughtful design. Each rug is carefully crafted in India, bringing a touch of authentic artisan skill into your home. We prioritise responsible production practices to ensure that every step of the creation process meets high standards of care and quality.

Choosing this rug means investing in a product that blends playful aesthetics with reliable performance. It is designed to withstand the wear and tear of daily use while keeping its vibrant colours and clear patterns intact. Whether it is used for floor-based games or simply to add a burst of energy to a space, it remains a practical and inspiring choice for your home.

Design

The design features a cheerful grid of various sports balls and athletic motifs, rendered in a bright and engaging palette. The mix of red, blue, and neutral tones creates a balanced look that is both energetic and easy to incorporate into a room's decor.

Clean lines and bold shapes define the layout, making the various sports elements stand out clearly. This graphic approach provides a contemporary feel that captures the fun and spirit of the game while maintaining a tidy and organised appearance on your floor.

Each Game On rug is expertly hand-tufted by skilled artisans in India, a process that requires both precision and patience. By using a tufting gun to punch the Wool fibres into a cotton foundation, makers create a dense and durable pile that stands up to daily activity. This manual technique allows for the intricate details and clean lines that define this sports-themed design.

The creation of a single rug is a time-intensive endeavour, with artisans dedicating significant hours to ensure every section is perfectly filled and finished. This level of human effort ensures that the rug is not just a decorative item, but a well-constructed piece made to last. The careful attention given to each detail and border reflects the pride and skill involved in traditional hand-tufted production.

Because these rugs are made by hand rather than by machine, each piece possesses a unique character and individual quality. The combination of high-quality Wool and a sturdy cotton foundation results in a product that feels substantial and well-made. This commitment to traditional craft ensures that you receive a rug that is both visually striking and built to endure.

Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.

20% Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
You may notice some shedding on your rug - this is completely normal and a sign of its high-quality natural fibres. The shedding will gradually lessen over time and does not affect the rug’s quality or lifespan. Regular hoovering with gentle suction and occasional brushing will help manage loose fibres and keep your rug looking beautiful for years to come.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Care instructions

Do this

Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
