Discover the artistic allure of this one-of-a-kind hand-knotted rug from India, featuring a sophisticated, abstract composition that brings depth and modern elegance to any room in your home.

This one-of-a-kind rug captures the imagination with its bold, artistic expression and rich, atmospheric tones. As an original piece, it offers a level of exclusivity that ensures no other home will feature this exact design, making it a truly personal addition to your interior.

The surface offers a luxurious, tactile experience underfoot, providing a sense of warmth and comfort that transforms the feel of a room. Its substantial pile creates a soft, inviting foundation that also helps to dampen sound, contributing to a more serene and peaceful home environment.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the rug features a dense, high-quality construction that ensures durability and long-lasting beauty. The interaction of its complex, abstract patterns and soft colour palette creates a visual focal point that is both engaging and calming.

Originating from India, this piece is a testament to long-standing traditions of craftsmanship reimagined for the modern home. Its unique character and sophisticated presence make it an ideal choice for those who value originality and a touch of artistic flair in their living spaces.

Modern rugs from India represent a vibrant evolution in textile artistry, blending centuries-old weaving techniques with contemporary design sensibilities. India has long been a centre for textile production, with a history of craftsmanship that has adapted to global influences while retaining its unique regional character.

The term 'hand-knotted' refers to the classic technique of tying individual strands of material onto a foundation, a process that determines the rug's longevity and pile density. This method is highly prized because it allows for intricate designs and a level of resilience that mass-produced alternatives simply cannot replicate.

The design language of this piece leans into the abstract, moving away from traditional rigid motifs to embrace organic, flowing forms. Such designs often use a complex layering of colours and textures to create a sense of movement, offering a modern aesthetic that feels both grounded and expressive.

Owning a hand-knotted rug of this calibre is an investment in heritage and skill. These pieces are valued by collectors and homeowners alike for their ability to bring a sense of cultural weight and human touch into a room, serving as a reminder of the enduring relationship between artisan, material, and design.

This rug is created through a traditional hand-knotted process, a labour-intensive method that requires immense skill and dedication. Each individual knot is tied by hand, reflecting a commitment to quality that creates an exceptionally durable and refined structure.

The substantial construction of this piece is evidenced by its weight of 29.9 kg, which indicates a dense use of materials and a robust foundation. This weight is a hallmark of the effort invested, ensuring the rug maintains its shape and appearance even in high-traffic areas of the home.

The time and precision involved in crafting such a large-scale piece are significant, with artisans spending months carefully building the design knot by knot. This level of craftsmanship ensures that the finished rug is not only a functional floor covering but a lasting piece of art designed to withstand the test of time.

Villa

Puuvilla

Puuvilla on luonnonmateriaali, mikä tekee niistä sopivan vaihtoehdon allergikoille. Materiaali on pehmeää, kestävää ja joustavaa, mikä tekee niistä käytännöllisiä ja mukavia paljon liikennöityihin tiloihin, kuten eteiseen, keittiöön ja kylpyhuoneeseen.

Viskoosi
