Design

The design features a delicate chevron pattern that creates a sense of movement and depth across the surface. The subtle interplay of cream, beige, and light grey tones offers a calming, neutral palette that fits effortlessly into a variety of home settings.

With its clean lines and soft colour transitions, this rug provides a minimalist yet engaging visual interest. The weave creates a textured finish that catches the light gently, adding a layer of sophisticated simplicity to your floors.

Each Chevron Waves rug is carefully hand woven by skilled artisans, a process that requires patience, focus, and a keen eye for detail. Unlike mass-produced alternatives, the handmade nature of this piece ensures that every rug has its own unique character and subtle variations in the weave.

The creation of this rug involves a significant investment of time, as artisans work to interlace the Wool and Cotton fibres to achieve the perfect tension and pattern. This slow, manual process is what gives the rug its distinct, high-quality feel and long-lasting durability.

By choosing a hand-woven item, you are bringing a piece of authentic craftsmanship into your home. The scale of effort involved in producing such a piece means that it is not just a floor covering, but a testament to the skill and dedication of the people who created it.

80% Wool

Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.

20% Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Care instructions

Do this

Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.

Avoid this
