Step onto the soft and comforting surface of this 100 percent wool rug, which brings natural warmth and a cosy feel to living rooms and bedrooms alike.

At 9 mm thick, it provides a pleasant cushion underfoot while helping to absorb sound for a quieter, more peaceful room.

Woven from soft natural fibres, the pile offers a tactile experience that invites you to walk barefoot and enjoy the comforting textures of traditional floor coverings in your daily life.

This piece features a knot density of 250,000 knots per m2, meaning higher durability and finer pattern details that stand up well to everyday family life.

Because this is a truly one-of-a-kind rug, no two pieces are identical and this exact design will never be made again, meaning your home gains a distinct character that belongs solely to you.

Bokhara rugs take their name from the ancient Silk Road city of Bukhara in Central Asia, historically known as a vibrant trading hub where nomads and master weavers exchanged goods and cultural motifs.

Over generations, the tradition migrated southward, and today some of the finest examples are meticulously crafted by skilled artisans in Pakistan.

The 2ply designation in this rug means the pile is constructed using two strands of wool twisted together before knotting.

This technique produces a denser, more lustrous, and longer-lasting pile compared to single-ply construction, ensuring the rug handles daily wear while maintaining its soft touch.

Visually, this tradition is defined by repeating gul motifs, which are octagonal or elephant-foot shaped medallions arranged in orderly rows across the field.

Enclosed by formal geometric borders, this design language offers a sense of calm symmetry and structured beauty that anchors a room.

Owning a hand-knotted rug from this lineage connects your living space to centuries of textile heritage.

It reflects a level of human skill and artistry that machines simply cannot replicate, making it a valued addition for anyone who appreciates lasting quality.

Crafted entirely by hand through a traditional hand-knotted technique, this rug represents months of dedicated work by skilled artisans.

Weaving a piece of this size with 250,000 knots per m2 requires an immense amount of time and precision, resulting in a total count of approximately 666,650 individual knots.

The meticulous placement of each knot ensures a robust foundation, sharp pattern definition, and long-term durability that allows the rug to maintain its beauty across generations of use.

Wool

Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.

Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.
