Rugvista is celebrating 20 years of bringing timeless rugs into homes around the world. To mark this milestone, we’re honouring our journey with a curated collection: 20 years, 20 designs. Each piece is a tribute to the craftsmanship, creativity, and everyday moments that have shaped our story.

20 years, 20 designs

For 20 years, we’ve believed that a rug is more than a purchase — it’s the start of turning a house into a home. Since 2005, our mission has been to make quality rugs accessible to everyone, combining timeless craftsmanship with inspiring design. Each rug is designed in-house and crafted with care, using responsible materials made to last. Two decades on, our purpose remains the same — helping you create a home to love.

Sigrid: A contemporary revival of handwoven tradition

The Sigrid design preserves the tradition of handwoven rugs while introducing a contemporary twist through modern colours and design elements.
Its composition is developed using full-scale paper pattern elements to refine the balance and interplay of geometric forms.

The design features a harmonious symmetry, with shapes and colours distributed evenly across the rug. The geometric pattern is achieved through a weaving technique where the weft thread passes over and under the warp, producing straight lines, sharp edges, and repeatable patterns characteristic of the style.

Precious: Ornate Craftsmanship, Modern Inspiration

The Precious rug is a hand-tufted rug that transforms traditional craftsmanship into a work of art. Drawing inspiration from centuries-old decorative rugs, its design weaves together ornate floral motifs, garden-inspired patterns, medallions, and geometric shapes in perfect harmony.

Each colour is meticulously hand-selected and dyed, creating a palette that is both vibrant and balanced. The tufting process becomes a delicate act of painting, where wool yarn brings intricate lines, textures, and details to life.

The result is a rug that celebrates heritage, artistry, and modern elegance—an exquisite centerpiece that turns any space into a canvas of colour, pattern, and timeless beauty.

A timeless journey

As we celebrate 20 years of design and craftsmanship, we look ahead with the same passion that started it all — a commitment to thoughtful design, responsible manufacturing, and lasting beauty. What began with a vision to make quality rugs accessible has grown into a community connected by an appreciation for timeless design and craftsmanship.
